Dish Network was established in 1996 when EchoStar launched its first satellite and created the company to market satellite TV system. "DISH" is an acronym for Digital Sky Highway. Dish Network's headquarters are located in Meridian, Colorado. The company specializes in telecommunications providing direct broadcast satellite television, audio programming and satellite Internet services. Dish Network employs more than 20,000 people. The slogan of the company is: "Better TV for all". There are over 13 million Dish Network subscribers all over the world. The most famous Dish Network show is Charlie Chat that is hosted by company's CEO Charlie Ergen and Jim De Franco.
