finally got fed up with the ""SCREECHING" of Billy May and the apparent extra loud sound when commercials come on my TV.

I broke down and bought a Sound Regualtor.

I bought mine from International Control System.

I paid $57 (including shipping) for mine and am VERY HAPPY with it.

The older TV sets had a volume control built into the TV - I am not finding this feature in any of the newer models - and now that you have HD there is no way you would go back to an older set - so you could just sleep right through the commericals LOL

There are many different ones on the market. Check it out on the internet.
