Besides ripping off customers, which I am one until my contract runs out, they also try to rip off previous employees. My phone shows the time of each call. I have waited 2 1/2 hours on hold and never gotten through to customer service.

I worked for them for a short period of time as a dispatcher. I quit because the department was poorly run and most employees were miserable. Now Echostar is sending me to collections because they said they found a payroll error 6 months after I quit. I told them I was not aware of an error but if one was made it is their problem. I refuse to do anything about it because for one, I was paid based on a timecard so it was definitely not my fault they paid for something that I never turned in. Secondly, they waited 6 months to find the error. I've never been in collections but now I am getting calls because I refuse to pay Echostar back for their payroll error. They told me I need to file an amended tax return based on correct earnings. I do not want to go through that hassle which is another reason I don't want to play their game.

So, yes, they have a poor tracking system for what their customers supposedly watch on PPV and what hours their employees work.
