I have had dish for many many years and have not been late on my payments at all in the past two years. Last month my bill was 192.00 but I paid 175.00, which I pay each month automatically.
Today I got a shut off notice because I was 27.09 in arrears. They demanded 212.00 immediately or they will shut off our service by August 31 even though the payment cycle is for 9/6 to 10/5, one month in advance. They did not give me a chance to pay the 27.09 and the remainder on the 1st. They offered me an extension for three days!
I will of course incur extra charges because of this extension. Loyalty means nothing. They figured out another way to gouge their customers. You are as good as your last mistake.
Dish customers, BEWARE!
