Dish Network - No internet, no dish features!

We had to move the dish receiver because of tree obstruction, installer suggested upgrade to the Hopper. We live out in the country, no internet available, so all the On Demand movies and PPV aren't available to us. We scroll through the channel guide and see all the stuff we can't get. *** me off every time I look for something to watch besides reality shows.
