As many other former Comcast customers, I tried to save some bucks switching to Dish. Big mistake!
The image quality cannot be compared to Comcast's, they're waaaay below. What's more, the image it's getting frozen time to time, I'd say pretty often. So, being under 30 days since I signed the leased equipment bill (which last night I found out that actually I signed a contract, not just the equipment bill), I decided to go back to Comcast. Surprise, surprise!
They said that I break the contract and I have to pay an early termination fee of $420!!! Since I knew there is a 30 days period when you can terminate the contract without any obligation, I was surprised to hear that.
Now, I'm absolutely sure they said that I have this 30 days period to cancel it without being charged for ETF, but probably they know there are only few days left outta those 30 days, and they try to scare me just to pass that period. Next step will be to contact BBB - I know it works just fine.
My advise foe everyone: STAY AWAY FROM DISH NETWORK!
