We have had our DVR 612 box replaced 3 times and still have lockups while recording. Our other 2 boxes are fine.

We have been with Dish for over 7 years and paid faithfully. I asked them to replace this box with a different model such as the 722. Any different model above or equal is fine. They refused without a 2 year service agreement!

Why would I agree to a 2 year service agreement when I can't get decent service now?

The rep from Dish said she would cancel my account and make a note in my chart, without a hitch. I guess it's time to leave. This is retaining customers?

Cheaper to keep one than get a new one. Go with Direct TV instead.
