My 85 year old mother has Dish and received a 3 month free subscription to all the movie channels. Before the 3 months expired I, myself, cancelled all the movie channels.
After her husband passed away this week I was helping her go through papers and found where Dish never cancelled the movie channels and has been charging her an extra $75.99 per month for the last 2 months. Since my mother has been preoccupied caring for her husband the past few months she didn't pay attention to the extra charges. When I found the receipts I called Dish and they DO SHOW ME CALLING TO CANCELL THE MOVIE CHANELLS before the free subscription expired. However, since my mother didn't catch the mistake of the extra $75.99 for the past 2 months they said all they could do is refund $65.00 for the last 30 days.
THAT'S JUST THEIR POLICY!
Shame on you DISH NETWORK!!!!! Never again!!!!!
