We tried to switch from Direct TV. Spent at least 3 days, 6 hrs total.

Got nowhere. We were switched from one person to another - Phillipines, Denver, and other places. Had to give the same info over and over since no one seemed to save info from out last conversation. Went thru numerous "phone trees" to even get to a human.

They needed our credit report which we had locked for security reasons. We unlocked it for them for a day over 3 days. First 2 days, they couldn't access it due to what they said were problems "on their end." Each unfreeze by us cost us $5. When they finally supposedly accessed our credit report they said the $96 package we wanted would cost $113 and we had to buy the receivers for $600 because our credit was so "unbelieveably" bad.

We knew that this was untrue and said GOODBY.

We then checked our credit report which showed that between me and my wife our 6 FICO scores ranged between a low of 827 to a high of 851 - probably the highest credit ratings these fools had talked to all day. We'll stick with DIRECT TV
