Dish claims superiority to DirecTV, but they refuse to give us HD programming for any program on ABC, NBC, ABC or FOX.Have you ever watched a football game in analog on an HD receiver?

It is terrible! Dish does not seem to care. They have made the decision that our market is too small to spend the HD programming bandwidth. We have too much $$$ invested in TVs and HD equipment to put up with it.

Of course, Dish never told us this when they sold us.As soon as our contract is over, we are going to switch to DirecTV.

Review about: Dish Network Cable Tv Service.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Hopper.

I didn't like: Lack of hd programming.

Had an Experience with Dish Network?

That is utter B.S.that the local channels determine whether you can broadcast an HD signal.

The general manager of channel 29 in Charlottesville is a friend of mine.

He knows and says it is Dish unwilling to pay for HD signal. What you said is false and the Dish corporate line.

Local channel companies will determine whether they'll give us the channels in HD or not. You can look it up.
