During a storm, our Dish satellite service was disrupted. It took several days to finally get through to their Customer NO Service.

We were then informed that it would be an additional 7+ days before the tech could get to our home in a rural suburb of the Norfolk VA metro. Now into close to 2 weeks w/o service we decided a hiatus from TV was in order since they bill was getting a bit steep. They requested we ship the receiver in a box that they were sending and that we get on the roof and remove some part of the dish. when we informed them that a tech would have to come and get the item from the roof since it could be hazardous, they "gracefully" informed us that it wouldn't be necessary and that they would not charge us for the "missing" items.

Funny though, it took them less that 2 day to come out to install, but couldn't get a tech to repair in less than 7 days. Nor was there any attempt to "save" the account. Hmm, maybe they do have too many customers.

Of course now we get at least one telemarketer a day offering the greatest deal on Dish Satellite service!!!!
