I have spent countless hours working through issues with my Dish...they have great superficial customer support. They respond fast but provide no real solution.

For the second time in 6 months my dvr has crashed and lost all of my recordings. When I ask for them to replace the unit they tell me the unit no longer shows a fault so it’s good. That is incredibly frustrating. Also, added benefits like dropping major channels.

Avoid at all costs. The killer is the contract.

They can literally drop all channels from your plan, and you have no way out of the contract - if you leave early you pay $500. They have no skin in the game and they know it.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Remote linking.

I didn't like: Deception sales practices, Hopper joey sucks, Customer service and no one that can make a decesion.
