We've moved from Direct to Dish to save money on an increasing bill. I watch TV almost everyday...

and almost at least every other day, the screen goes black and there's audio but no picture. OR it will reboot itself and shut down...having to "restart the hopper" which takes at least 15 minutes. And it always seems to happen at the worst time...when you're watching your favorite show, and it decides it's going to shut down and reboot on you and you end up missing half the show b/c of it! I am not happy!

I have called Dish customer service, only to have them try to walk me through something and isn't helping. AND what is it about trying to tape a future show on your DVR and it doesn't come up?? Even when it's within that week??? I NEVER had that issue with Direct tv.

We switched to cut our bill and thought it would be just as good.... But so far, it's NOT.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Losing the picture periodically, Not finding programs to tape in dvr in search menue.
