I cancelled my Dish contract October 9th and Charter says they will pay me the Dish termination fee if I claim within 60 days. Now Dish says they will not give me the termination fee in writing until the 60 days is up !

No invoice - no letter - no email confirmation - they will wait out the 60 days. Spent hours phoning, They will not send final bill. They could type up on letter head a final bill but they won't. NO Help!

They absolutely refuse to give me the termination fee figure in writing but they do quote it over the phone

Tell them, in writing, that you will not pay any final bill unless they send it to you within a few (say how many) days. Be sure to freeze your credit reports.
