I just got off the phone with dish network. I had them take 1 of my dvr's off and re-wire the main dual dvr.

They said it would reduce my bill from 73 dollars to 40 dollars a month. And they said all they would need is a 15 dollar fee for the technician to come out and take care of that. The next thing I know I have a bill for 163.87! I don't like or understand this company at all!

They are dirty!

I cancelled my service immediately because I did not want to be part of any of this! Take my advice and steer clear of this company!

I know it's frustrating when the bill jumps more than you expected. It sounds like a one-time charge which may be related to the technician.
