After three attempts to get our Dish installed, the third time worked. While the Dish technician was here he sold us a Polk Sound Bar for $550.

It failed within 38 days. Dish refused to take it back, insisting we contact Polk for a replacement. American Express gave us our money back through a chargeback. Then Dish put the $550 back on our bill.

Unbelievable! After 8 calls to various people we tried to cancel our service. They of course want to charge us a cancellation fee. We said, fine we will have our lawyer deal with any bill they send us.

If they do anything to our credit we will sue.

Stay away from this company at all costs. They are a nightmare.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

You can sue, and then lose. You have an arbitration clause.

Also, the warranty for the sound bar is through Polk, not Dish. You charged back, meaning you still owe those monies. The bank siding with you is not a legal defense. It exceeded the limited 30 day return warranty Dish had.

So, contractually, you are in the wrong also. The cancellation fee would be valid.
